TravelTech Show will take place on 29 – 30 June 2022 at ExCeL London and online on Swapcard
With the Royal Docks venue now having its own dedicated Elizabeth line station, in addition to two existing DLR stops, ExCeL CEO Jeremy Rees says it will cut journey times by up to two thirds when it opens on May 24th, with the resulting time saved leading to a significant increase in networking and commercial trade from delegates.
The high-speed Elizabeth line – which now becomes part of the existing TFL network – stretches more than 60 miles from Reading and Heathrow in the west to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, with 24 trains running per hour once fully operational. For ExCeL, visitors from central London will now be able to reach the venue in as little as 12 minutes, whilst door-to-door from Heathrow Airport will be just 43 minutes.
As a purpose-built site, ExCeL is one of the most well-connected venues in London, on average the journey times to ExCeL are 7 minutes quicker from the major London stations. ExCeL hosts 24 food and drink options, 9 onsite hotels and is, on average, only 20 minutes away from some of London’s finest bars, restaurants and attractions.
There are 3 DLR stations serving ExCeL plus the Emirates Air Line cable car; over 3,000 onsite parking spaces, 2 taxi ranks and, of course, London City Airport is just 5 min away, connecting ExCeL with over 300 global destinations.
The Docklands Light Railway (known as the DLR) is part of the London Underground network. Two of the stations, Custom House and Prince Regent are a 2-minute walk from The ExCeL Exhibition Centre.
DLR services: All trains towards Beckton/Gallions Reach will stop at Custom House and Prince Regent.
The Jubilee Line and the DLR are the quickest routes to ExCeL London.

The London Overground, part of the London Underground network, serves a large part of Greater London and parts of Hertfordshire with 112 stations on several routes. The Overground is highlighted in Orange on the Tube map.
