Suzanne Horner
Having worked in the travel industry for over 35 years, Suzanne has been the Chief Executive Officer of Gray Dawes Group for 12 years, taking the company from a regional £28 million business to a global TMC with a revenue of over £500 million.
Suzanne’s success at Gray Dawes has drawn praise and acknowledgment both in and out of the travel industry. She has been named as one of LDC’s Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders and scooped a global Women in Business Award. She was one of the 20 female winners heading UK companies chosen by CEO Today magazine and has twice been named in BTN Europe’s Top 25 Most Influential People in Business Travel (2019 and 2023).
In 2019 Suzanne was appointed the chair of The BTA (Business Travel Association), where she continues to spearhead their strategy. Suzanne also chairs the BTA’s People Strategy Group, where she leads on the association’s mission to attract new talent to the corporate travel sector. She has also joined the Advantage Travel Partnership’s board when the consortium looked to increase its support of business travel.
Suzanne describes herself as a driven, focused businesswoman who sets tough personal goals and achieves them. She is the first to let people know she is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and invests a lot of time in this. Outside of the world of corporate travel, Suzanne is a keen motorbiker and has travelled the world on two wheels.
